Santa Rosa Plum Galette

Alen and I are very lucky to have recently had an amazing lunch at Chez Panisse, where we were very inspired by the most beautiful Plum Galette that was on display for dessert. When we tasted it, we were both so happy that something so simple could look so beautiful and taste so delicious. In honor of Bastille Day, Alen decided to make a galette of our own with dark, juicy Santa Rosa plums and our handmade puff pastry. The result was an incredible sweet and tart, buttery and flaky and completely inspired pastry.
